Jack N. Glaser

I am a PhD candidate in economics at the University of Chicago studying topics in development and environmental economics. My fields of training are public economics and industrial organization. My dissertation project studies the effects of malaria in sub-Saharan Africa. My research agenda also focuses on adaptation to climate change; in particular, I am currently working on topics in natural disaster resilience, agricultural adaptation, and the effects of climate change on public health. Previously, I primarily worked on topics in household finance.

I am currently on the 2026-27 job market.
